We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand-new website! We have redesigned our site from the ground-up in hopes of creating a more user-friendly experience, with a more well-rounded selection of our inventory in a new, easy-to-browse online catalog.
We're still working on completing all of the features of our new website, but we couldn't wait any longer to let our customers experience the new online home of Garland's Indian Jewelry. For now, making purchases online is disabled until we work out all of the kinks. Likewise, we're not quite ready for you to create and register an account with us, but expect these and other features to be complete very soon.
Many of our categories have few or no items, but we'll be constantly adding items to the site as we go along, so please check back often!
In the meantime, please take the opportunity to get acquainted with our new website.
Navigation
On the left-hand side of our site, you will see the main sections of our gallery. If you click on any one of the headers, the list will expand to show the subcategories that you can browse. Clicking on any of these subcategories will take you to a list of items in that section.
Near the top of the page, just below our logo, you will find a search box and some store links. Clicking on any of these links will direct you to more information about various aspects of our business - a little history about us, a list of our artists, an introduction to Indian jewelry and art, some information on Turquoise, information on how we size our jewelry, and our contact page.
Viewing Items
Once you are browsing a list of items, click on the "thumbnail" picture of any of the items to view more information on the piece. Once directed to the item's detail page, you will see more detailed information on the piece, such as dimensions, tribal information, a brief description, and often multiple photos. Clicking on any of the photos will allow you to view them larger for more detail.
Searching
Perhaps one of the most powerful features of our new website is the search function, found near the top of every page, just below the logo. You can search our online inventory for just about any keywords you can think of. Type in artist names, turquoise mines, inventory numbers, designs, tribes, techniques - just about anything you are looking for can be found using the search!
